The Millennium Centre:

  • offers meeting room facilities to charitable organisations free of charge
  • can provide office space and accommodation to organisations within Millennium House on Bickerstaffe Street

Car Boot Sales: We are always on the look out for your kind donations; you have been incredibly generous.

Second Chance, Vintage-Styled Fashion Boutique: This is closed at the moment: we are waiting to relocate.

Our gorgeous, bespoke, vintage-styled charity fashion-boutique opened its doors on Bickerstaffe St. to the public on Monday 19th April 2021. We aim to be eco-friendly by using brown paper bags, tags and string which can be recycled. The St. Helens’ community have been extremely generous with their donations. We cater for children and all genders; shoes, bags, belts and clothing.

Back in September 2020, before our doors opened, due to Covid-19, we had built up an online presence on Facebook which now helps us reach a wider audience for selling our donations; we have an Ebay shop too.

You can follow us on:

  • Facebook: @sthelenstmc
  • Twitter: @tmcsh
  • Ebay:millenniumcentresh

DONATIONS are always welcome; all the proceeds are given back to the community by means of giving free room hire to charities and voluntary groups. We are still selling your donations online and at car boot sales.

MC Books: Quality, Second-Hand Books: This is permanently closed: we are waiting to relocate.

Our amazing, classic, charity book shop on Bickerstaffe St. opened on Tuesday May 4th 2021. We stock fiction and non-fiction; genres from fantasy, cooking and romance to history and children’s books.

There is a whole area dedicated to children’s books. Another area is full of romantic novels.

Vinyl Records are making a come-back; we stock classic, pop and rock records to name but a few.

We also sell Cd’s, Dvd’s and sheet music.
