Anthony Richards MBE., JP
Tony is the Executive Chairman of the Millennium Centre and Managing Director of local window/door frame supplier Arcoframe. In the late 1990s it was Tony’s vision and leadership that helped to shape the Millennium Centre as it is today.
He was a long serving member of the Knowsley Magistrates Bench and Founder of the St Helens and Knowsley Hospice Steering Committee, which culminated in the opening of the new Willowbrook Hospice. Other past voluntary positions include Chairman of the St Helens Physically Disabled Society, St Helens District Blind Society and the local Sue Ryder Home. For many years he was Chief Officer of the St Helens & Knowsley Community Health Council, and also served on the National Association of Community Health Councils.
His services for the local community have been recognised by becoming an Honorary Freeman of the Metropolitan borough of St Helens (2000), winning the Entrepreneur of the Year award (2004) and receiving an MBE (2006).

Dr Mohamed Hany Mohamed El Sheshtawy Ali Nasr
Richard Barton qualified from the Liverpool School of Pharmacy in 1973 and started his career at Whiston Hospital working as a Quality Control Pharmacist. He worked at Whiston until 1980, when he moved to a Prescot-based Community Pharmacy; he managed the business for eleven years before eventually buying out the previous owner in 1991.
During the latter stages of his career, Richard served on the St Helens & Knowsley Pharmacy Committee (also fulfilling the role of Treasurer) before he retired in 2004.
He is currently a member (and past Chairman) of Windle Parish Council.
Nicholas Wilding
Nicholas Wilding is a Director and Trustee of the St Helens Theatre Royal and of the Elmet Trust in Yorkshire. He has been the President of the St Helens Amateur Operatic Society and is also a Trustee of the Harry & Mavis Charitable Trust and the Hebden Royd & District Swimming Pool Association.
He is the Film Archivist of the Hebden Bridge Literary and Scientific Society and also sits on the board of the Mytholmroyd Community Centre and on the Hebden Bridge Old Peoples Welfare Committee.
Nicholas runs his own TV production company (Excalibur Productions) and in 2011 screened one of his films at the Imperial War Museum in London.
Joel Wood
Joel Wood is a graduate of King’s College; London, and holds a Diploma in Financial Services-from The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
His regulated financial services company, Assured Life Advisers, sponsors the Steve Prescott Foundation’s Pride of St. Helens Charity Champion award.
He also has interests in private and commercial property. Joel is an active member of the Rotary Club of St. Helens where he is President-Elect. For several years, Joel has overseen the planning and preparation for Rainford’s Christmas Fayre, together with, the local authority and volunteers.
Having completed the National Three Peaks Challenge and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Joel is fond of the outdoors.

Paul Winstanley
Paul has spent his professional career managing risk for a wide range of organisations, ensuring that people, property and assets are safe, secure and protected. Throughout his career, he has chaired numerous committees on behalf of government bodies and other organisations, providing leadership and governance across a variety of sectors.
Alongside his professional work, Paul has been an active volunteer for more than 35 years, delivering projects and initiatives to support young people, local communities and wider charitable causes.
Paul brings to the board both extensive experience in risk management and a long-standing commitment to community service. His steady approach to governance, combined with his dedication to public and voluntary work, enables him to make a meaningful contribution to the organisation and its future development.
